Certificate of Insurance (COI) Information

Condos, co-ops, and commercial properties in New York City require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before any HVAC work can begin. At NARTA HVAC, we make this process seamless for building managers, facility directors, and property owners.

$2,000,000 Liability

Fully insured for residential co-op/condos and retail commercial spaces.

Same-Day Turnaround

Typically issued and dispatched to management in under 1 business day.

How to request a COI for your project

1. Gather Building Requirements

Obtain the sample COI or the required certificate holder details from your building manager or super. This should list:

  • Certificate Holder Name & Address (usually building management company)
  • Additional Insured names (usually building association, co-op board, or owner name)
  • Specific endorsement requirements if any.

2. Send Requirements to Us

Email the requirements PDF or portal login link directly to our B2B team at: info@nartahvac.com.

3. We Dispatch & Upload

We generate the COI with our insurance broker and send it directly to your building management or upload it into portals (such as SiteCompli, BuildingLink, or RealPage).
